80s Cartoon Potshots: Visionaries Episode 13

Visionary OsteonWell, it is the end of an era.  This is the very last episode of Visionaries to review.  I think after watching the previous 12 we have a good idea why the TV series failed, as did the toy.  Thankfully, we go out on a high note as this was one of the few episodes I really remembered from back in the day.  Here is Dawn of the Sun Imps, where both sides in the Visionaries war must fast their greatest challenge yet, and ever as well unless they are ever brought back (and if they are, hopefully better done than the Jem movie).

80s Cartoon Potshots: Visionaries Episode 11

Visionary OsteonAs promised, since we ran behind in our promised weekly series of Potshots, we are now looking at the eleventh episode of Visionaries, entitled Honor Among Thieves.  This was perhaps the best remembered episode for us at Icygeek (with the pilot and 13th episode being the other notable ones), and it is little wonder, as it marks what could have saved Visionaries if had been more like this episode.  The rivalry between Ectar and Reekon really could have gone somewhere.

80s Cartoon Potshots: Visionaries Episode 2

Visionary OsteonWelcome back to 80s Cartoon Potshots.  Today we look at the second episode of Visionaries, entitled The Dark Hand of Treachery.  In many ways the first three episodes of the series was a origin trilogy similar to the one that Transformers G1 had, except that Transformers went on to have many episodes, bot in G1 and in subsequent renewals of the franchise.  Sadly, thirteen is all Visionaries had.  So we continue on with reviewing the series, Potshots style, with one a week until we finish the series, and always on Sunday to better go along with D&D Saturday.
