Welcome back to Icygeek and another season of The Flash. When we left last season, Barry went back in time to save his mother from being murdered. However, since that wasn’t a series finale, it must all turn to guano for him. Here is our review of the season three opener: Flashpoint.
Wizards of the Coast has been slow in producing content for 5e, and other than the Forgotten Realms the pre-existing campaign settings for it have been barely supported, if at all. This includes the apocalyptic setting of Dark Sun. However, a fan of the setting named Kiel Chenier did us all a favor by…
Just as we was looking for a new anime to review, here is a post from Crunchyroll saying episode 1 from a series called…Kaiju Girls. Why not review it? Below is out review of the first episode, entitled We’re Kaiju Girls?! As per our usual style, we first take potshots at it while watching it, and then give our analysis.
We have been slacking with the site lately, but reviews of 20 minute anime seem to work well. So we decided to try to find something fun and we have…Familiar of Zero. We have never seen it before, so watch with us as we have the episode embedded below (at least until Youtube pulls it), with our typical potshots of the episode, with a final analysis below it. Here is our take of the first episode of The Familiar of Zero: entitled Zero Louise.
Getting back to doing reviews, and what better way to start than with the season premiere of the only Marvel TV show in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. We saw a lot of weirdness in the preview of the fourth season at the end of the third season’s season finale, so let’s see what this season will give us.

When we started Icygeek, we often highlighted articles on the net we found of interest to the geek crowd, and then posted our commentary to it. We have gotten away from it, but why not try a return, thanks to this nifty article…
Well, it is still Monday in most of the United States. Sorry for the delay, but here we are looking at the cards from Exodus of the Reserved List, seeing if they could come back to Standard if the List was abolished (rated Yes, Maybe, No, Hell no, and OH HELL NO), and then look to see how an alternate version could exist in Standard.
Our friends at Nerd Louisville are sponsoring a convention called Nerdlouvia on November 12 & 13. It is being posted on our Convention page.
The lead penguin of Icygeek was injured (for lack of a better term) at Gen Con, but is slowly recovering. Posts coming again soon
