This weekend is Ohayocon, the annual winter anime convention held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center (but mostly the Hyatt Regency) in Columbus, Ohio. Having gone there a couple time, and having gone to the GCCC over 20 times (due to the Origins Game Fair and various Magic: the Gathering PTQs), I’ve made a list of things to know before you go and while you are there.
In order to broaden the appeal of this website, we at Icygeek have created a whole page of conventions within an easy drive of Louisville, given that is where our home creche is. If you have any other conventions of a geeky nature that we might have missed, please let us know.
The world’s premier Transformers Convention, BotCon, has for the past decade or so moved from city to city, and month from month every year.
