Transformers Review: Graduation Exercises

Bumblebee RIDAfter a brief mini-vacation we are back with our Transformers reviews, looking at the latest episode of Transformers: Robots in Disguise with Graduation Exercises.  Let’s see if these episodes are better than what we have been watching.

Hallelujah…Prime’s team

That’s an awful lot of mini-cons

Please don’t destroy the only interesting Autobots.

Fixit became even more useless than normal.

Optimus has no superior, moron.

Douglas MacArthur you are not.

Disrespectful, but funny.

Ahh, fresh air.

This is easily the best episode this season.  No weak Optimus.  More interesting Autobots.  A Decepticon that at least gave some appearance of being an actual threat due to the number of mini-cons he had under his command.  No humans screwing it up.  Sometimes it is the simplest things that make an episode good.  Is this the greatest episode of Transformers ever?  Nope, of course not, but when you have been drowning anything that keeps you afloat or gives you oxygen is welcome.

When Grimlock cameod I could not help but think that if the whole series was just Prime’s team plus Grimlock, it would be a solid show.  It is curious what the next episodes will be like when all the Autobots are together.  This series still needs some help, but a watchable episode is very much appreciated.

I’m tempted to grade this on a curve and rate it a 5, but I’ll resist and instead give it 4 snowflakes out of 5.

Quoth the penguin…evermore.
