Transformers Review: Impounded

Bumblebee RIDIt’s hard to look forward to writing reviews when you are reviewing Transformers: Robots in Disguise.  Today we are looking at the ninth episode of season 2, entitled Impounded.  Do Autobots get impounded?  Uh oh… I have a bade feeling about this.

==Potshots==

I can hardly BEAR this Con

These kids would probably think “COOL”

INTRO

Weak cover

Why aren’t they well known already?

Poor Grimlock.

A Grimlock triple-changer would be cool.

A traffic jam?  Really?

She was trashed.

BREAK

Ugh.

Impound lot?  Double-ugh.

That is one crappy watchdog

Please don’t sing again Grim.

BREAK

How nutty and screwy Fixit.

Just realized what Grim has is a Pretender shell. 🙁

That’s the pits.

Once again, forget the singing

==Summary==

Ugh.

There’s a reason I’ve been late reviewing these episodes…they are painful.  Autobots impounded?  Somehow they are still a secret?  A Pretender shell for Grimlock.  AARGH!!!

By the way…turns out that the Decepticon that Bumblebee fought in the beginning was supposed to be dog-based, not bear-based.  Sheesh.

If there is one good thing to say about this episode is that at least someone remember that there was a Autobot named Grimlock in the early 2000s whose transformation was a green crane, so kudos there.

2 snowflakes out of 5.

Quoth the penguin…evermore.
