Today we get to cover the new episode of Transformers: Robots in Disguise with the fifth episode of season two: Cover Me. On the plus side we see the special operation team. On the down side…well, you’ll see.
Cool, desert colors
Did anyone confirm that was 5 seconds?
Hot & cold mini-cons
Again with the Optimus disrespect?
Windblade we agree with you.
You were defeated by a damn squirrel???
Where’s Seaspray when you need him?
Or an Autobot that can turn to one.
That’s hot…or cold.
Get ‘im Windblade
Good swing Op.
When he finally starts talking again, he’ll be using some new Earth words he’s been waiting to use for the right time now.
What was there to like about the episode? Well, we got more Windblade, the best character of the series. There was the desert camo colors for all the Autobots, which seemed cool at first but ended up being meh. The lead Decepticon, which I don’t believe we ever saw transform, was meh. Even thro Razorpaw was an energy vampire he was meh. Plus, we continue with the weakening of Optimus Prime subplot, and even his victory in the end didn’t satisfy due to how subpar the villains were.
We wish we could say more about this episode, but it was just so meh. This was a filler episode, and not even a remotely interesting one. 2.5 snowflakes out of 5.
Quoth the penguin…evermore.
