D&D Saturday: Lightning Genasi

D&D LogoWelcome back to D&D Saturday.  Today we present a variant to the genasi presented in the Elemental Evil Player’s Guide that was published a few months ago: the Lightning Genasi.

NOTE: to use this variant, you must have a copy of the Elemental Evil Player’s Guide, available at http://media.wizards.com/2015/downloads/dnd/EE_PlayersCompanion.pdf

Lightning Genasi

As an lighting genasi, you are descended from the denizens of the Quasielemental Plane of Lightning, one of the least known planes of existence. Lighting Genasi were unknown until the past few years, and some wonder if some Thor or some other god that loves lightning and/or storms created them as an answer to the more common genasi.

Lightning Genasi bodies almost glow, to the point where it is almost impossible for them to hide in the dark; those without darkvision can see them as if they did have the ability, and those that already have h darkvision automatically see the lightning genasi.  Their hair is usually a canary yellow.  They are often seen as hyperactive to others, giving any party they belong to a fun bundle of energy.
